GII Islamic REIT (CEIC) Plc (“GII REIT”) a closed-ended investment company incorporated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (the “DIFC”). REIT’s are categorized as a Domestic Fund, an Islamic Fund and a Property Fund (as each is described in the CIR), subject to the overview of the DFSA.
The objective of the REIT is to achieve income and capital appreciation by investing on a shari’ah-compliant basis predominantly in high-yielding real estate in the United Arab Emirates.
